About this opportunity

Our client is one of the fastest growing business advisory boutiques in the UK, now operating across BVI, Cayman Islands, Cyprus, UAE, Mauritius, Poland and Singapore.

We are currently looking for an Insolvency Manager for their BVI office who will assist a close-knit team in managing their portfolio to ensure outstanding delivery of services.

In the role of Insolvency Manager you have overall responsibility for:

  • Managerial and leadership responsibility, providing guidance on a portfolio of cases
  • Guidance of the team to ensure professional development is fostered and team can develop to maximise their potential
  • Develop and train the team and set goals and targets
  • Administering of corporate insolvency cases across multiple jurisdictions
  • Manage cases from commencement to closure
  • Maintain IPS, Case diaries and make strategic recommendations where appropriate
  • Liaise with and instruct professional advisers
  • Adherence to statutory compliance and legislation
  • Completion of casework for Directors and Managing Directors

What you’ll need

  • CPI Qualified and ideally JIEB (or equivalent); and/or ACCA/ACA/CPA
  • Knowledge within restructuring, insolvency and financial investigations
  • Knowledge of contentious insolvency, cross-border and financial services skill sets
  • Opportunities to develop networks and participate in market facing activities
  • Desire to work towards / achieve post-graduate qualifications
  • Awareness of financial targets / constraints and can contribute to achieving these
