As a Manager in our consulting team, you will:
- Assist your portfolio of clients with a variety of services including audit support, reserving and financial reporting, providing actuarial opinions, M&A due diligence, IFRS17, capital modelling, risk management, and other consulting projects
- Contribute to the practice’s strategy and vision and assist in marketing efforts, actively contributing to a wide range of client projects of a technical actuarial nature
- Provide a robust consulting service with both traditional and non-traditional service offerings to assist insurers, reinsurers, captives, pension schemes, banks and non-financial related entities
- Regularly partner with professionals in accounting and other specialist service lines
- Develop robust and practical solutions to a variety of actuarial and risk challenges
What you’ll need
- Qualified or nearly-qualified as an Associate with the IFoA / SOA / CAS or equivalent
- 5+ years’ relevant actuarial experience in consulting with either P&C or Life insurance clients
- Experience with reinsurance and M&A, IFRS17, reserving techniques, and the Bermuda solvency framework and regulations preferred
- Driven and capable of identifying business opportunities
